It is the driver behind American Idol. The winners are commodities to be displayed and purchase. We shouldn't wonder why Adam is being pitted against the others. What you said is true. I as an Adam fan likes his music and his performance style. I will only purchase Adam's music. I will not buy other music as i don't like their music. Anyway, as a fan i would like idol tour to end, this way both artists can just go their separate ways. I just want to enjoy Adam's music and would like all these AI thingy to fade away.
